If you were to talk to the author, what would you want to know?

If I was to talk to the author that wrote the novel "Q & A" I would like  to know, what inspired him to write this novel. I would like to know who inspired him to write this novel because  this novel is unique in various ways. For example this novel is not said  since Ram Mohammad was a little kid  and as he grew up, it's not in order. Another unique thing about this book is that  each chapter is about an experience in life he had  and how it helped him answer questions correctly. I would also like to know if when the author was going to write this novel, was because the show of Who Wants to be a Millionaire was vey popular and that maybe by writing a novel about a story of how someone became a millionaire, probably many people would buy it? I would also  like to know is since this novel is based on a true story, who’s story is it fof in real life? Is it  someone that the author is related to?  I would also like to know how long did it take him to write this novel since its very long and its interesting of the way its written. The last thing I would like to know is if he ever thought of making this novel longer by having Thomas answer more questions, so us as reader would learn more about Thomas life experiences, because his experiences were really interesting.

Overall—how did you experience the book while reading it? Were you immediately drawn into the story—or did it take a while? Did the book intrigue, amuse, disturb, alienate, or irritate, you?

My experience while reading this book is that at the beginning of the book it was very difficult  to understand what it was about because  I didn’t really paid attention to it because its not the type of books I read. It took me a while to get hooked up in the book was hard and I had it to understand what I was reading. Something that irritated me from the book where the names of characters that were used through out the whole book. It really got me frustrated because they where really weird and very hard to  pronounce them and infer if they were either names or countries names.  Another thing that really bothered me was that the vocabulary was very challenging because  the book was at a higher reading level than the one I read. Even though they where things that irritated me, I really enjoyed reading it because of the life experiences that Thomas had, and how he always tried different things that will work out, like the times he ran away from the police. Another thing that I liked about the book was when Thomas lets people borrow money knowing that he won’t get it back. Overall it’s a good book.

Who is the most important character in this story? Why?
The most important character in the story is Ram Mohammad Thomas, because his life is told through out the whole book of his life experiences he had and how they helped him win one billion rupees. Ram Mahammad Thomas is important because he  is  an orphan who answered 12 questions correct and won a billion rupees without going to school. Ram's life  is very difficulty because he has to be moving from one job to another and sometimes gets miss treated because his an orphan boy.
